Hot Stone Massage

During a hot stone massage, smooth, flat, heated stones are placed on specific parts of your body. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort. A common misconception about hot stone massage is that the stones are just left in place, they could burn the client if left in the same place for too long. Some stones are placed on top of the blanket and wrapped to insulate the stone to keep it from losing its heat while other stones are tools that the therapist uses to stroke the clients' body.

Hot Stone massage requires more equipment and more time to set up and break down, an additional fee will be added.
