Thai Massage

Traditional Thai massage is performed on a mat on the floor, but the modality can be adjusted for the client to be on a table. Thai massage is often called "the lazy man's yoga," this is because Thai utilizes many stretches. Therapists performing Thai massage also use their hands, knees, legs and feet to apply deep muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure on the client. Thai massage also utilizes energy work, which, according to ancient Asian culture, treats the subtle energetic field within the body.
